1. Fresh Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies: Get prepackaged chocolate chip cookie dough and bake a few dozen cookies. Not only will it make the home smell amazing, but you can offer your guests cookies. Offering your guests a snack and bottled water will keep them at your open house longer engaging in conversation with you. Bonus!

2. Fresh Baked Apple Pie: Read the directions and thaw a frozen apple pie beforehand and bake it in the oven during your open house. There’s nothing that smells more like grandma’s house than the aroma of an apple pie baking in the oven. Emits a warm and cozy ambiance for your guests!

3. Cinnamon Potpourri: Simmer a combination of cinnamon sticks, sliced oranges, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla in a pot on the stove. The aroma is warm, inviting and reminiscent of Fall.

4. Apple & Cinnamon Plug-In: If you’re pressed for time, have some Fall scented plug-in’s handy. Plug them into electrical outlets of the main living areas.
